Services & sacraments.

The Holy Qurbana - the Liturgy of St. James, the brother of the Lord - is the oldest continuously celebrated Eucharistic rite in Christendom. At our parish it is offered every second and fourth Sunday evening at 6 o'clock, in Malayalam language.
The service runs about two hours. It is sung throughout. Visitors are warmly welcome to attend, sit anywhere, follow along, and remain for a dinner afterward. The Holy Mysteries themselves are received by baptised Orthodox Christians; others are invited to come forward for a blessing. Prosphora (offering bread) is prepared before the service by the faithful. Modest dress is requested out of reverence for the sanctuary. Children are welcome throughout; a quiet space is available if needed.
